Feel free to bring your SBC e.g. raspberry pi /  pine64 / gear / tools.

April is flying by. This Thursday we will be meeting at Starter Studio. As you probably already know we alternate locations to accommodate the distance some people travel.

As always, if there is anything something specific that you want to hack at security night feel free to bring it.

We will be able to copy/duplicate data using USB duplicator / mass storage. If you bring a 6TB bare drive we can make arrangements to duplicate as it takes a long time. Otherwise pick and choose what you want to copy.

What: General Meeting / Open discussion @ New Location

Hi Everyone,

DC407 is coming up – this time on a Thursday. We picked a new location and new day since the normal meeting is on Christmas day.

We also want to see how people like the new location. Don’t worry, we’ll come back to FamiLAB but if things go well we might alternate between locations to better accommodate the distance some people travel. Unfortunately, you’ll have to pay for parking downtown.

That being said, maybe we’ll try some Kringlecon A.K.A. the Sans Holiday Hack Challenge (if it’s available by then) and/or discussions/hacking. As always, if there is anything something specific that you want to hack at security night feel free to bring it. Let’s have fun!

Hi Everyone! What an exciting month: BSidesLV / blackhat and DEFCON26. Hopefully, you’re recovered by now :-).

Next Tuesday night is dc407 / security night at FamiLAB who has been the staple of our meet up for years! We are extremely grateful for the awesome facility with A/C, Internet, a class room with projector, electronics lab, and the fellowship of likeminded hackers.

We understand that some people have to drive quite a distance so we’re thinking of alternating locations. Let us know what you think!

While we were at DEFCON, we got our drives filled with goodies from DDV and we owe a special thank you @DDV_DC! We’ll try to setup a duplication computer next month or if you have equipment that can help duplicate SATA – let us know.
