It’s a “colocation” (colo) datacenter and they are willing to host us for DC407! They are super cool with us so we want to be super respectful (and I’d love to plan another meeting with them 😇 ).
Anyway they have free parking and are located downtown and they have wifi.
So we have a couple of talks planned while we shove pizza in our faces (and also show & tell for anyone interested in showing and telling):
DC30 JollyBadge: A Noob HW / FW Build (#BadgeLife)
Dangerous cables! (USB usbninja & O.MG and HDMI recording with the “screen-crab”)
Please make sure to get on the discord (if not already): DC407 Discord!
(Alternatively) If you have issues with discord you can use the FamiLAB Slack (New User) (or FamiLAB Slack) on the #security channel. There’s folks there are nice enough and can probably answer / relay questions there.
If you can, please help by RSVP in discord (slack) so we can better plan pizza and chair counts. Thank you.
Discord activity has been steadily increasing. It’s good to see the activity keeping up even a month after defcon. In person meetups are being discussed, and I should hopefully be seeing some of you again soon! Upcoming meet up information will be on discord announcements channel. Join the discord server if you haven’t yet.
The discord invite link changed. Here’s the latest: https://discord.gg/UtvaVp7J36
Though we haven’t been meeting in the past several months, the meetings after the previous post were getting scheduled in discord and likely will again once we resume meeting. I’m not super crazy about this website as a means of communication so it may not likely see too much use. Come join us in discord if you haven’t already.
